Climate Drift Community - Kick-Off Event

I am launching the Climate Drift Community.

A place where you can ask questions, get feedback, and exchange ideas daily.

All with the same goal:  Start - and advance - your career in climate.

Why am I doing this?

Because I am helping so many people (LinkedIn, Calls, Newsletter).

But not everyone gets all the learning resources I am sharing. 

Algorithms decide who sees what. 

It’s hard to search and find the best materials.

There is too much unorganized noise.

And you’re always on your own 😭

So I want to create a community of people who are serious about working in climate.

Who truly care. 

Who want to make a difference.

If this is you. 

Then Climate Drift is for you.

I will share behind-the-scenes resources.

Weekly learning packs for different climate sub sectors.

Bring people in to share how they made the transition into climate.

Organize the community so people can help and support each other.

Think:

In short: this is THE learning community to start - and advance - your career in climate.

2️⃣ How it will work

I don’t want this to be another slack channel. 

But an online community (hosted on Circle) to tap into the wisdom of other members.

And access a library of resources.

A place where people can connect, and find like-minded people.

Learn together and hold each other accountable.

Online and in real life.

3️⃣ Is it free?

Nope. 

Free education gets little respect.

Many places charge $10/month for a Slack channel that’s self-organized.

I’ll charge the same to start out.

4️⃣ What’s next?

To start: I’m hosting this virtual kick-off event.

I will share some proven climate career transition lessons.

Share some success stories and strategies.

And make sure everyone meets at least a handful of other people (networking matters!).

All in a small group setting (breakout rooms)

(I’m aiming for 50+ people to sign up, so we can launch the kick-off event in June).

(I’ll share the recording of the kick-off event with everyone who signed up).
